Superior Ready Mix is required to be in compliance with every condition of its Conditional Use Permit (CUP).

Condition 22b of the Conditional Use Permit states that "No Saturday activity shall occur within 500 feet of residential structures."

Below is a map showing where activities may NOT be conducted on Saturdays.

Yet, up until about March, 2026, Saturday after Saturday, neighbors coould document activity occurring in this Saturday-restricted area.

The restriction of Condition 22b was put in place to reduce noise to neighbors on Saturdays.  Superior and Vulcan continued to ignore Condition 22b up until about March, 2026.  There is another way for trucks to get to the concrete plant (which is what most of the trucks are doing) by using the entrance across from Princess View Drive. This looks like it would avoid the restricted area. For whatever the reason, from 1983 to 2026, Superior and Vulcan choose to send trucks through an area that was supposed to remain free from activity on Saturdays.

It seems to residents that this is a blatant example of the facility considering that it is above the law. Residents are left baffled about why the this restriction was unenforced for so long.
