PETITION FOR CLEAN AIR IN THE AREA SURROUNDING
SUPERIOR READY MIX/CANYON ROCK
​(7500 MISSION GORGE RD, SAN DIEGO, CA 92120)

For more than 20 years neighborhoods around  the Superior Ready Mix/Canyon Rock plant (SRM) on Mission Gorge Rd have endured unacceptable levels of pollution presumably from SRM's lack of compliance with air quality regulations.
 
We want TOTAL ONGOING COMPLIANCE  to all air quality regulations (Federal, state and local) by Superior Ready Mix/Canyon Rock. This includes:

1. The creation of a plan of action by the APCD to end and prevent the recurrence of events that cause air pollution at Superior Ready Mix/Canyon Rock
2. Monitoring the Superior Ready Mix/Canyon Rock plant on an ongoing, daily and nightly basis, not just when complaints are made.
3. Monitoring the air quality (airborne toxins and dust) in surrounding neighborhoods.
4. Accountability of the APCD to citizens and public officials regarding this matter.
